CS Energy is a Queensland Government-owned energy corporation that was established in 1997. We are a major provider of electricity in Australia with an energy portfolio of more than 3,500 megawatts.
CS Energy employ almost 700 people who live and work in the communities where we operate.
Why Recwise?
CS Energy approached RecWise looking for a cost effective solution that could be used in the business and was straight forward to use.
The added bonus was that instead of being a SaaS model where customers may be dictated to for storage CS Energy could choose the fleixibility of either having the application on their own infrastructure or alternatively on infrastructure they source from external providers directly. This allows for a better understanding of costs associated with the service and also the ability to drive economies of scale from bundling other services together should that be a need in the future.
If there is a need to move to the Microsoft Azure Cloud or Amazon Web Services then they have the flexibility to do so.
